Forum Rules and Guidelines

General Rules

1. Members are permitted to have only one account.
2. Usernames may not be vulgar or offensive. Such accounts will be banned.
3. Admins do not delete accounts. Requests regarding the deletion of accounts will not be fulfilled.
4. All members are allowed to change their username once. Please contact an administrator if you want to do so.
5. Your posts reflect you. Please ensure that you are polite and respectful. Do not use profane language towards other members. Our opinions may be different but we are all here for the same man. We will not tolerate disrespectful behaviour.
6. Spamming of any kind, be it through posts, PMs or VMs, is unacceptable. Spammers will be banned.
7. If you have issues with other members, do not display them publicly. Please resolve these issues via PM or off the forum.
8. We are all here for L.O.V.E. Please respect not only Michael Jackson but also his family and the women in his life. Your opinion must be expressed in a polite manner.
9. Apart from our main forum rules, please make sure to check the ‘He’s Got The Look’ rules before posting in that section.

11. Users are only allowed to promote other forums in a separate section called ‘Website Promotions.’ This can be done once you have reached 50 posts on. Do not spam the board to reach the minimum post count or a formal warning will be issued.
12. Users who break the rules will be warned by members of the team via PM. Your warning level will be increased if your wrongful behaviour persists. Once a fifth warning has been issued, a temporary or permanent ban will be given out.
13. Users are not allowed to discuss or question why a member was banned on the forum.
14. All users are obliged to check their inbox for messages from the Team.
15. Absolutely no refunds will be given for paid subscriptions. The only exception is if you are upgrading to the 'Diamond Donor' usergroup. In that case, we will credit you for any prior subscriptions.

Using the Forum

1. This is an international Michael Jackson forum, therefore all posts must be written in English only.
2. Proper grammar must be exercised in all parts of the forum. If the team finds that you are repeatedly breaking this rule, subsequent action will be taken.
3. Before you create a new thread, use the search function to make sure a similar thread does not exist.
4. Please ensure that you create your thread in the right forum section. Ask any Team member for guidance if you are unsure about where to create your thread.
5. When quoting someone from another forum or website, or posting an article, users are obliged to provide the source and its link.
6. Posting the content of PMs without the author’s permission is not allowed.
7. Avoid posts such as “Thank you so much.” Using the Thanks button will be enough.
8. Avoid quoting long texts when you want to comment on one part of it. Edit the quote, leaving the part you want to discuss.
9. Double posting is not allowed. This is where you post twice in a row without another member posting below you. If you have something to add, simply edit your earlier post if you are still the last poster. The only exception is when a significant amount of time has gone by (not hours) and you have something new to add that will restart the conversation.
10. Users must not post download links for officially released material. However, streams are acceptable.
11. Discussing pornographic or sexual subjects is not allowed in any public section of the forum. Posting adult pictures is also disallowed.
12. Death hoax discussions are strictly forbidden on.
13. Users may discuss Michael Jackson’s children in the appropriate section (The Jackson Family -> The Children). Photos of them are not to be posted in the “He’s Got the Look” gallery nor are they to be posted in your personal albums (with the exception of Michael being in the pictures as well). Leaked post June 25th photographs of Prince, Paris or Blanket are not allowed anywhere on the forum. Please remember that this is a Michael Jackson board and going into the children's very personal lives is inappropriate.
14. We do not condone violent comments or death wishes towards Conrad Murray. You do not have to respect the man but please respect life and death.

Signatures

1. All regular users are allowed to have a signature which does not exceed the size of 450 pixels in width and 250 pixels in height.
2. Donors are allowed to have a signature which does not exceed the size of 500 pixels in width and 300 pixels in height.
3. All users are also allowed to have 2 additional pictures which do not exceed the height of 150 pixels. Diamond donors are allowed to have 3 additional images.
4. Using videos in your signatures is not allowed.
5. Using photos of Michael Jackson’s children in your signatures or avatars is not allowed.
6. Adding links to other forums or using other forums’ banners in your signatures is not allowed. Please use the ‘Website Promotions’ section for that.
7. Should users break the signature rule, the images will be removed by the team and informal PMs will be sent. By the 3rd PM, user will not be allowed to have a signature for a month. If they continue to break the rule after that time, formal warnings will be issued.

The Gallery

1. MJJ Eternal does not own or claim any images that are uploaded to the gallery as its own.
2. We would like to give credit to Michael Pictures as many of our uploaded images stem from that site.
3. Should any members find images that belong to someone and are uncredited, contact us so that we can ensure proper credit will be given.

MJJ Eternal Team

1. The team consists of Administrators, Junior Administrators, Moderators and Fan Fiction Moderators.
2. The team is allowed to ban an account without providing a reason. You may not publicly question any decisions regarding a member’s ban. Likewise, you may not contact team members to inquire about such decisions.
3. Team members are allowed to close or delete any thread or post without giving a reason.
4. Restarting a thread or re-posting a post that has been closed/deleted is not allowed.
5. Should you have any questions or complaints about the team’s work, please send your concerns by PMs. Do not discuss your issues with team members in public (i.e. in threads, blogs, or VMs) . Please respect all members of the team as they work very hard to maintain this board.
6. Should you see a thread or post that breaks any rules and has not been closed or deleted, please use the Report button to make the team aware of it.

For breaking above rules you may be warned/banned appropriately!
